From the hotel to Åre & back
Only 100 m from the hotel there is bus 157. It runs more often in the morning and afternoon and it goes home from Åre no later than 22:55.
The stop is called FJÄLLSÄTRA and if you are going in / back to / from Åre, the stop is called ÅRE RESECENTRUM. The journey takes 13 minutes and you can pay by card on the bus (SEK 32 for an adult). The bus has both ski & bike racks.
There are also trains to & from Åre. Undersåker's station is stopped before Åre and is only 300 m from the hotel.
It is best to check the timetable at www.snalltaget.se , then all train companies that run the route will come up (the bus times can also be seen here).
On all Norrtåg you can pay by card on the train.
The train journey takes a maximum of 12 minutes.
CROSS COUNTRY TRACKS NEARBY
From the hotel you can easily and quickly reach several of the valley's fantastic cross-country trails. Below you see which ones, how far it is to them and where you can find more information about when they were last prepared
Åre Björnen , 10 min by car
Snow-safe cross-country skiing in wind-protected forest terrain. Parking just after the lift area where the tracks also start from. It is also possible to combine the lengths of different loops to vary the ride and create your own variant. The 3rd and 5th are electrically lit at 07:00 - 22:00.

Edsåsdalen , 10 min by car
Edsåsdalen's ski trails are remarkably well-kept, pleasant and partly challenging, without offering too great technical difficulties. The tracks run in wind-protected terrain and the track center is located just below Fjällstationen's main building. There is also a track center at the parking lot at the far end of the village where the public road ends.
Trillevallen , 10 min by car
120 km of prepared hiking and cross-country trails. The electric light track measures 2 km and is prepared daily, as well as other longitudinal tracks of 5 and 7 km. The other 120 km hiking trails are prepared if necessary according to weather and wind and are linked to other destinations in southern Årefjällen.
Järpen ski stadium , 10 min by car
The ski trails are a total of 3.6 miles and are prepared daily if needed during the season.
